"Great bass line"

I just loved your bass line for some reason... it stood out!

Good use of filtering, gates, and good mastering skills.... i'm yet to master that. Good choice of synth around 1 minute for the main melody. I would say i wish the snares were alittle louder.... i'm a big fan of snares. Not much else to say, it would all just be preferences and stuff, nothing constructive to suggest other than good job and more snare volume.

Alright ! What a quick turn around from your former stuff. I think you can teach me a thing or two about compression and EQ, limiter etc. I'm proud of ya. Your song so much better and almost professional.... very impressive. I have now added you to favorite. Keep it up and keep listening. This one sounds like quality is better than the others... did you do anything different on this one? I'm not a fan of the overall score but the variety and the growth and the quality of the music makes this much more enjoyable to listen to. Much better job with production on this. :)

ps- you seem to really like that soft arp type instrument, its in every song.

You used the same pansie arp type instrument that you used for your jumpstyle type song. Spend more time messing around in sytrus or whatever program you are using for synths. Other than that I think you writing ablity is great - go through the internets (lol) and go through some tutorials on FL studios and learn some tricks... you will instantly become better.

I loved it! I dont think the bass was too bad, and the kick was where it was suppossed to be. What makes people not get in the complete jumper mood to accept the harsh bass and kick is the main instrument used for the melody (i think its a pansy arp - Make the instrument slightly harsher like use the preset "slyce" on sytrus - and play with it a bit and smooth it, distort it or whatever. The Saw type synths used were great. I think learnt to EQ and compress would be a good idea - Like i said i'm in the same boat, haven't spent any time learning to EQ or Compress yet - Youtube it and go through some tutorials... its on my list of things to do as well.

I think Dj Felix had some good advice. I dont think this song in general is the best for me to review, since it seems like a simple tribute to Norwegian traditional songs.

But in general I think you have decent skills and just need more practice. I think i'm on the same boat as you.... most of my music is too quiet and i have a tenancy to use the presets on FL or whatever program used. If this weren't posted on NG and just heard by some locals and friends it'd get better reviews. NG will rip music apart unless its original and presets aren't used and if you aren't zero bombed anyways....lol. So don't quit making music on an account of bad voting on NG. Do what I do... make music because you enjoy it.... not for ratings.

Well I'll take a look at some of your other music and look for specifics i can help with.

"deserving."

I didn't listen to this with the best quality speakers and it still came across as a very good song. I didn't get to fully enjoy the Eq, etc.... but it was well written and enjoyable. I think this is one of the better songs on NG. I hope zero bombers can take a break from spanking this.
